Chapter 6

The midmorning sun played hide-and-seek amongst a patchwork of blue-and-gray sky. A rain shower had already fallen, making the grassy expanse between the small copse of trees Tina was hiding in and the Anguilla Tech factory a shimmering field of tall emerald blades.

“You know he’s probably going to want to eat that damn thing, right?”

Doc was talking to her through the comm from about a quarter mile away, somewhere within the perimeter fence of the Anguilla Tech site. The factory was at least three times the size of the operation in Madagascar—roughly five acres, with a large parking lot adjacent to a two-story administration building. Behind the building was the main plant itself, comprised of several hangar-like structures, large above-ground tanks, and a refrigerated packing plant in the rear. She knew all of this thanks to Rick hacking into the Anguilla Tech servers and providing data on the facility’s layout. Using it, Doc had targeted the packing plant as their main means of crippling the operation.
